We Will Survive!
Every time we turn on the news there are increased signs of great instability. Rising food prices, economic uncertainty and natural disasters can make us all think..."am I prepared? …would I be ready for the unexpected? and ...am I self sufficient?" So many times we hear "if there's a disaster, I'll just go to my neighbor’s house, they have a lot of food storage" or "My local church is bound to have resources, I'll just go there for food". While that may seem like a great plan, your friendly neighbor may only have a limited amount of resources for her own family. After all, how many families would you store food for, in addition to your own? We have been admonished by the prophets for years to be prepared for all things. It does not have to be a major catastrophe; you could possibly experience a job loss and find yourself needing to use your stored resources.
Our goal is to support and help every family become self sufficient by reducing your debt, acquiring an adequate water supply, individual 72 hour kits, long term food storage and any other emergency preparations you may need. We are excited to announce the creation of our new blog, “Woods Cross Will Survive". This blog is designed to be a motivator, an educator, a cheerleader, and forum for ideas & feedback as you work on your emergency preparedness for your own family. Whether you are just starting with your first bottle of water, or you have spent years preparing, this blog has something for everyone. Our goal is to take you from overwhelmed to empowered! We will be frequently updating the blog with helpful tips, information, links to various websites, food storage analyzers, budgeting tips, great deals of the week, recipes, etc. We want this to be interactive, so please leaves comments and feedback. We welcome testimonials on certain products, deals and websites. Please share thoughts on any related topic. If you find a great deal, sale item, location of a hard to find food storage item, great website, etc please email wxwillsurvive@gmail.com to have it posted.
