Great deal at Smiths

If you want to have some water bottles as part of your water storage, there is a great deal at Smiths this week.  You can get 4 cases (24 ct., .5 Liter bottles) of Nestle Pure Life Purified Water for $1.54 (+tax) each, or less if you have coupons.

Here is how you do it:

1) The cases of Nestle water are $2.79 this week as part of Smiths "Buy 10 Participating Items, Save $5.00 Instantly at checkout."  Get 4 cases of water, and find 6 other items to make it to 10.  (There are several other items that are good deals, such as pasta, Rice A Roni, yogurt, Capri Sun, Powerade, etc.  They are on the first and second pages of the weekly ad).

2) If you have any coupons for Nestle water, take those with you.  (Smiths mailed me a coupon for $1.00 off the purchase of two cases.  If you have that coupon, that would make the cases $1.30 each).

3) When you purchase the 4 cases of water, a Catalina coupon will print for $5.00 off your next order.  (If you calculate this off the price of the water, it makes each case $1.55!)


Here is the calculation:

4 cases of Nestle water (4 x $2.79)11.16

Divided by 4 cases
=$1.54

If you don't want that many cases, you can purchase fewer and still get a good deal.  If you buy 3 cases, a coupon will print off at the register for $2.00 off your next order, making the cases $2.12 each.  If you buy 2 cases, a coupon will print for $1.00, making the cases $2,29 each.  Even 1 case at $2.79 is a decent price.  (In any of these cases, you still have to buy 10 total participating items to get these prices).

 I know this deal is good at least through Tuesday, March 29th.  The Catalina coupon will print off up through April 3rd, but I don't know if the cases of water will still be on sale after March 29th.
